Save Our Community Project – We Need Your Support
My name is Vanessa, and I have been working with this amazing community project for the past 11 years.
We are the proud successor of Worlds End and Lots Road Big Local, continuing a legacy of support at the heart of our neighbourhood.
Over the years, I have seen first-hand the difference this project makes. We support residents of all ages—from children as young as 6 to our oldest member at 98 years young—creating a space where everyone feels welcome, valued, and connected.
We deliver a wide range of activities, including:
Boxing and fitness sessions for young people
Boxing and fitness for children with SEN
Art club for young people and much more…
Health and wellbeing programmes
Educational courses and awareness workshops
Social clubs such as knitting groups, bingo and Befriending Friday
Project supporting homeless people and people in temporary accommodation.

Our work is about more than activities—it’s about reducing isolation, building confidence, and bringing people together. For many, we are not just a service, but a lifeline.
We have become a trusted part of the community, building strong relationships and supporting people through all stages of life.
But now, we urgently need your help.
We only have enough funding to continue until the end of April. Without immediate support, this vital community resource may be lost.
After 11 years of dedication, this is not just a job to me—it’s my community, and the people we support are like family.
