It is a lovely opportunity for resdients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spaces are limited and will be offered on a first come first serve basis!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Governor&#8217;s Review 2026 at the Royal Hospital Chelsea<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tue&nbsp;2&nbsp;Jun&nbsp;2026&nbsp;10am \u2013 1pm <\/strong>(taxi pick up at 9.45 from World\u2019s End)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Royal Hospital Chelsea, SW3 4SR<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We are delighted to invite you to the Governor\u2019s Review at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This stunning military parade, a highlight of the Royal Hospital\u2019s calendar, is the dress rehearsal for our annual Founder\u2019s Day parade, which commemorates Oak Apple Day and the birthday of King Charles II \u2013 whose vision for a home for veteran soldiers resulted in the foundation of the Royal Hospital Chelsea more than three centuries ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Watch the Chelsea Pensioners on parade in full ceremonial dress in the Royal Hospital\u2019s iconic Figure Court, inspected by the Governor of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, General Sir Adrian Bradshaw KCB OBE DL. Following the parade there will be an opportunity to mingle with fellow guests in a hospitality marquee located on the North Front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Timings:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>9.45am<\/strong>: Chelsea Big Local guests to be picked up from outside St John\u2019s Church, Chelsea (on the King\u2019s Road) by black taxis &amp; driven to the Royal Hospital Chelsea\u2019s <strong>London Gate<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>10am<\/strong>: On arrival to London Gate, <strong>all guests must be signed<\/strong> in by a Royal Hospital staff member from the Department for Public Engagement (give <strong>Marina Spiteri<\/strong> as a point of contact)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>10\u2013 10.30am:<\/strong> All guests to be seated in Figure Court by 10.30am (seating is <strong>unreserved<\/strong>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>11am<\/strong>: Parade begins promptly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>12pm<\/strong>: Reception in the Soane Stable Yard following the parade until 1pm. This will consist of a light buffet lunch only.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1pm:<\/strong> collection from the Royal Hospital Chelsea\u2019s Chelsea Gate at 1pm &amp; return to World\u2019s End<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dress:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This is an <strong>outdoor event<\/strong> with no shelter, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
