Created by the National Trust using funds provided by the National Lottery Community Fund. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What made the Big Local community project special, was that the objectives of the project were decided up on by the residents themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the outset we understood that local residents knew what it would take to drive positive change within their own community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the last decade, we have organised events, supported local projects, and worked hard to deliver our residents priorities: improvements to green and open spaces, community events that bring people together, services targeted at young people, and delivering jobs, training and enterprise opportunities for the entire community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The creation of the Chelsea Big Local as a successor organisation will enable a long term self-sufficient legacy for the original Big Local project which will continue to serve the evolving needs of our local residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chelsea Big Local is a successor to the Worlds End and Lots Road Big Local.
